In 1986 Maria Carr earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia specializing in Photography. Later Maria coupled this artistic foundation with gallery, commercial and portrait disciplines and now specializes in wedding photography.

Over the past decade Maria has photographed weddings in many of the areas churches, synagogues and reception sites. Her knowledge of the wedding event and love of people enables her to take quality photographs without intruding on the spontaneity of the celebration itself.

Maria believes that "preparation" is key to the successfully photographed wedding. This is evident in all facets of the wedding process from the pre-wedding consultation with the bride and groom, to finding the best photographic opportunities, to completion of the wedding album.
